Worship with Us
What can I expect on Sunday morning?
There is a time of fellowship and coffee at 9:30 AM in the foyer of the church. We love to see new faces.
Our worship service begins at 10:00 AM and lasts approximately 45-60 minutes.
Worship services are held in our beautiful sanctuary year-round.
Parking is in the rear of the church. The door on the left side of the building is the entrance to the church foyer and sanctuary. The door on the right is the entrance to the Fellowship Hall.
Dress is casual.
The Prelude and the Postlude are performed by our organist or guest musician.
It is not unusual for levity to break out during service, especially when we have the “Passing of the Peace,” at which time we greet each other and say “may peace be with you”.
During the service, children may leave the sanctuary with a leader of our Children’s Ministry for their age-appropriate worship, stories, and crafts. They’re also welcome to stay in the sanctuary if that’s more comfortable.
Our worship service is based on the Evangelical and Reformed theology and is expressed through Biblical teachings in sermon and scripture, prayers, music, and hymn singing.
During the first Sunday of the month, Holy Communion is celebrated, where all are welcome at the Table.
Services are live-streamed virtually via our link on Facebook.
Children’s Church
On Sunday morning at 10:00, children begin church in the Sanctuary with their family or friends. Before the scriptures are read, they leave with an adult and go to the Kid Zone for a short lesson, story, and or craft.
We would like to see more children on Sundays and at our events, but we also understand the needs of our families and support all that they do. We understand the needs and schedules of co-parenting families and plan our activities so that they are meaningful, whether kids come every week or twice a month.
